I went to a "party", which was hosted by some poor guy whose parent had gone out of town. He had a few under-age people over. Arriving late, and not wanting to be there at all, I was very painfully bored and sober...

Then something fantastic happened - a chain reaction of vomit. The girl pictured below is laughing while cleaning up her own puke, which was at least her third regurgitation of the night.

No lie, she'd already puked all over the bathroom, mixed herself another drink, and then puked on the counter, cleaned it up, and then puked on the counter again before I even thought to take this picture. Some other guy got blamed for the puke in the bathroom, got sent in to clean it up, and then puked himself. Everyone there, seeing everyone else puking, suddenly needed to puke... I've never in my life seen so many pukes in one night.

The more I drank, the funnier it got, and the less bored I was.

These pictures were taken with my phone, and they're rather old, but I had to unload them eventually.

They were taken at my favorite sushi bar, (good sushi is very hard to come by so far from an ocean. This place actually flies their stock in.) Anyway, it's our tradition on every outing to do a little thing called a "Flaming Saki-Bomb" before we leave. You take a small glass of beer, then lightly suspend a shot of hot saki with a little floated Bacardi-151 on some chopsticks over the glass, light the 151, and then shout, "Kampai!" (a Japanese toast), and then (shouting), count to three in Japanese (ichi, ni, san), and then the bartender slams his fists down on the bar, the shots fall into the drink, extinguishing the flames, and then you race to the bottom.

So about a month ago, a video I've had on my site for over a year, called "B.A.S.E. jumpers!", which I really love, got posted on News Today, and then picked up and posted here, on Metafilter - The combined effect of the two nearly crippled my site, since the video weighs in at 14.1 MB. Fortunately, I discovered it within a few hours, screamed like a girl, and then scrambled to rename it and shuffle it over to a different domain. Just a little sleight of hand - it's still available for viewing, just at a different address, on a secondary site with more available bandwidth.

The point is, since thousands of people were now following a dead link, I figured I'd at least give them an interesting 404 error message, rather than the boring, standard "page not found" message.

So today, I was browsing Metafilter, only to find that my FREAKING 404 HAS BEEN LINKED!!! (here)

It's been hit about 7000 times since yesterday - Luckily, it's less than 1 MB, but still, if this keeps up, I'm gonna hafta put back the boring, standard "page not found" error message.

For now, I'm laughing just a little too hard.
